The club sponsors two races each year.  Club members are involved in the planning and operation of the races.  Members can participate in a variety of tasks at the races, including registration, traffic control, parking, food and finish line.

The Winter Wonderland 5 Mile race is held on the first Sunday in February at the Milford/Orange YMCA.  This is a low key race for the hardy runners looking for a winter competition.  There's hot soup after and plenty of other food.  This year is the 27th annual.

The Independence 5000 is a 5K race held on July Fourth at Foran High School in Milford.  We get about 600 runners for this one, so there are plenty of tasks for club members.  There's a raffle at this event and plenty of food.  This is a good chance to learn what goes in to putting on a large race.
